2009 St Patrick's Day at Golden Vista

Other Years: 2004  2005  2006  2007  2008  2009  2010    St Patrick's day 2009 started with sunshine, and lots of enthusiasm, the spectators had lined Mineshaft by 9:30.  A Flyover by 2 WW2 planes a P-51 and a Yellow Twin Beach immediately preceded the parade, your photographer was not prepared so failed to get a picture of them. The parade started promptly at 10:00 AM lead by the Golden Vista Motorcyclists and a Apache Junction Police cruiser, followed by the , The Honor Guard with flags and  then the Parade  Marshals  and many of the Park clubs and Activities Groups, most distributing Candy to the spectators, The Parade was closed by a Fire Truck from the Apache Junction Fire Department.   After the parade, most spectators adjourned to the pool area for celebrations, libation and lunch in the Ball Room.
