GOLDEN VISTA’S CREATIVE CERAMICS

The ceramics complex includes: Two workrooms with space for approximately 10 to 15 members.  A separate firing room with three kilns which includes, two electronic Skutts and one Cress automatic model kiln.  Extensive shelves and cabinets are available for display of projects and storage of supplies. 

We have classes at all levels from beginning to advanced pupils.  Many of our experienced members are willing to help those with their projects as needed.  There are specialized classes in clay, carving, glazing, drybrushing, golds and pearls. Projects range from small pots to large Southwest items.

We encourage our students to enter their favorite ceramics into the various ceramic shows in the valley. Several have won top awards in the competition at the Phoenix and the local valley ceramic shows.

Our $10.00 a year fee enables our members access to our extensive library of ceramic books, shelf space and the various equipment and supplies purchased with membership fees.  A minimal firing fee is charged for firing their various ceramic pieces.
