2010 Annual Meeting Reports
The 2010 Annual Membership
Meeting of the Golden Vista RV Resort Association, Inc. was held on February 16,
2010 at 1 P.M. in the Ballroom. Our Articles of Incorporation require a
quorum for business to be conducted at the annual meeting. The Articles
define a quorum as needing at least 50% (538 owners) of the voting power of the
Corporation. As owners entered the Ballroom, they were asked to sign in
for their lot or lots. Only 188 shareholders signed in which is 17.5% of
all owners or 35% of 538 required for a quorum. Therefore, NO business could be conducted.
A
letter from the
Board dated February 16, 2010 was given to all residents as they entered
the Ballroom.
